A FAMILY ADVENTURE at the First United Methodist Church in Greensburg will continue into February. On February 2 the topic will be “Talking about Sex”. The topic on February 9 is “Dealing with Peer Pressure and on February 16 “Self Esteem”. Depending upon response, there may be future topics in the month of February and March. The program open to the public will be at the church. Doors will open at 6:00 Pm for refreshments. The worship will be from 6:30-7:30 PM. Child care is provided for children under age 5. Children up through 6th grade are invited to participate in the churches Kid’s Rock program. A free will offering will be taken. Contact person at Grace Wellness Center is Dr. Phillip J. Huggins (724-863-7223, DrPhilGWC@yahoo.com) and at First United Methodist Church the Director of Program Ministries, Heather Runser, is the contact (hdrfumc@verizon.net).

CONQUERORS SUPPORT GROUP – On February 20 a group for men struggling with sexual issues will begin at Monroeville Community Church. This is a partnership between Grace Wellness Center, Harvest USA and Monroeville Community Church. The facilitator, Dr. Phillip Huggins comes from Grace Wellness Center. Monroeville Community Church is providing the location and group leaders. Harvest USA is providing training, support and the curriculum. The theme will be men who struggle with sexual issues. There is a vision for a separate group for the women in their lives. This is a real issue in our church. This is a semi-closed group so prior registration is required. The group will meet the first and third Monday of every month. To gain information about this ministry or to have a man register contact the Dr. Huggins (724-863-7223) or gwc7223@gmail.com.

CHURCH INTRODUCTION - In February and March we are looking for opportunities to introduce Grace Wellness Center to churches. The representative will bring a display and be available for a brief introduction during a worship service. If GWC has been a blessing to you please suggest to your pastor to invite Grace Wellness Center or give your pastor and church contact information to your counselor and we will contact the church.

VALENTINES DAY SPEAKER – We have three different speakers available should you be seeking someone to speak at your Valentine’s Day celebration. Our staff is available for pulpit supply, special events or even sharing with a small group.
SEMINARS – We have multiple seminars available on a plethora of topics. Contact Steve Luther or Dr. Phillip Huggins for specific details.
March 3 – Wellness Fair at Monroeville Community Church. It will begin at 9:00 am and conclude at noon. There will be many different health professionals available to share at their booth and to offer simple heath aids. This will be a great opportunity to “tune up” the temple of the Holy Spirit.

March 11 – Presentation of Grace Wellness Center at Calvary Assembly of God, Irwin.

PASTOR REFERENCE
I have referred congregants to The Grace Wellness Center over the last two years of my ministry at Level Green Presbyterian Church. I fully endorse the ministry that The Grace Wellness center has, as they not only use their clinical and professional counseling experience to serve their clients, but the counseling clients receive is Biblical based and Christ centered. I fully support their mission, and ministry, in fact my former Youth Director now serves on staff there as a counselor!

Throughout the remainder of January three pastors have scheduled meetings to discuss a partnership with Grace Wellness Center. This is exciting. It is our passion to come along side of the pastor and church as a support. There is still room for more. As long as the field is white and the harvesters few we are seeking qualified counselors and new locations. We are open to new means in how our connection and support of the local church can be fulfilled.
